  • Austin, Helen Cloud. Correspondence, newsletters, news clippings, and other materials of this social worker at the San Antonio State Hospital.
  • Briscoe, Hattie Elam. In 1956, Briscoe became the first Black woman to graduate from St. Marys University School of Law, and was the only Black female attorney in Bexar County for the next 27 years.
  • Garcia, Arcenio A. The collection documents Garcia's work as Chairperson of Barrios Unidos, Mayor of Cotulla and County Commissioner of Precinct #3 of La Salle County, Texas.
  • Gebhardt Mexican Foods Company. The records of this San Antonio-based company that produced Eagle Brand Chili date from 1896-1988 and consist of correspondence, financial records, promotional material, film,sound recordings, and photographs.
  • Gutierrez, Jose Angel. Dr. Gutiérrez was a leading Chicano activist and political leader in the 1960s and 1970s in Texas. He was also one of the co-founders of La Raza Unida political party that helped to raise public consciousness of Chicano civil rights issues.
  • Morgan, James. James Morgan (1787-1866) was a Texas pioneer, merchant, land speculator and Commander at Galveston during the Texas Revolution (1835-1836).
  • Reflections on Texas video collection. "Reflections on Texas" was developed and produced by KMOL-TV San Antonio to commemorate the United States Bicentennial. The series of 30-second vignettes focused on the offbeat moments of Texas and San Antonio history.
  • Richter's Bakery. Photographs, microfilms, and a written history of this San Antonio bakery and its proprietors.
  • San Antonio and Casino Clubs. Correspondence from the first social club of San Antonio, Texas that promoted cultural and literary activities in the city.
