'After several years of working with less fortunate boys from West San Antonio, Father John Birch is leaving for El Paso to continue his work with Spanish-American boys. Tony Salas, 12, left, and Jessie Villanueva, 13, watch as Father Birch works magic, making coins disappear and then magically, reappear. The beloved priest has won the affection of the boys of the city and he has led them from paths of delinquency.' |
